Yin Yoga consists of a series of still, longer-held floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the pelvis, hips, lower spine and legs. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues which are stimulated by the long-held poses (ranging from 2-5 minutes each). Using this depth of Yin Yoga, ‘issues are released from the tissues’ which allows for working out deep-seated emotions and circulating energy through previously blocked areas of the body. Join me for this nourishing time together, and dissolve deeply into mindful movements.
