Movies Nights

From September to June, we alternate a family/children’s movie and adult-themed movie every two weeks, showing on the big screen in the church. Popcorn’s provided, please bring a drink. Admission’s free – donations are appreciated. Check the Events page.

Bible Studies

Seasonal (Advent and Lent) and book or theme based Bible Studies are shared over a period of a few weeks. Check the calendar for more information.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Members of our community lovingly knit simple shawls for those in need. They are given to people grieving a loss or hurt in the hopes that, wrapped in it, they may know they are held in thought and prayer, that they are not alone and that God’s love is with us always.

New shawls are blessed in services at Christmas and Easter. Knitters are always welcome! Yarn is supplied. Please contact the Church office.

Angels Among Us

Each November, we encourage our community to participate in a program of random acts of kindness, to be an angel for others. The format varies from year to year, but participants are invited to both be an angel and to “nominate” angels they’ve seen in action, posting to our Facebook page and Instagram.

Annual Events

We love our town and throughout  the year, you can expect to find a variety of family oriented events happening to which everyone in our community is invited: suppers, Family Nights, our annual Sugar Plum Ball in December, the “Pay-what-you-think-it’s-worth” Yard Sale in May, Ice Cream Festival in August and much more. Bashaw Community Theatre [bashawcommunitytheatre.com]

Our church and facility is the home of Bashaw Community Theatre and we’ve been a part of its creation and nurture into a tremendous gift for our community. While their performances never fail to impress and entertain, it’s the spirit, openness and camaraderie of the cast, crew and everyone behind the scenes that makes this a genuine blessing. Reaching Out

Our congregation works with other community organizations in Bashaw.

At the church, we partner with Bashaw Adult Learning in presenting programs, provide meeting space for Girl Guides and we’re the rehearsal and performance venue for the Bashaw Junior and Senior High School Drama Programs.

Volunteers work in the community with Meals on Wheels and the Bashaw Thrift Store.
